Privacy Policy

Blop is designed to keep your personal media on your device. This page explains the limited information involved when you use online search, purchases, or this website.

Effective July 21, 2026

The short version

Blop does not require an account, does not run its own analytics, and does not sell your personal information. Stickers, images, GIFs, videos, audio, collections, and recent items you save are stored locally on your device in Blop’s app container.

Your media

Media you import is processed and stored on your device. Blop does not upload your personal library to a server operated by Blop. When you copy, drag, or share something, it is sent only to the app or service you choose through Apple’s system sharing tools.

You can delete individual items or collections inside Blop. Removing the app also removes its locally stored data, subject to your device and backup settings.

Online GIF and clip search

Blop uses KLIPY to provide online GIF and clip search. When you use this feature, the search request may include your search words, a randomly generated Blop customer identifier, your device language, and technical information such as your IP address that is normally part of an internet request.

KLIPY processes this information under its own privacy policy. Blop does not use KLIPY search information to create an advertising profile.

Keyboard extension

Blop’s keyboard requests Full Access so it can read your shared Blop library, copy media to the system pasteboard, and use online search. Blop does not record or transmit what you type in other apps. Text entered directly into Blop’s own search field is sent to KLIPY only when you use an online search category.

Purchases

Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple. Blop receives purchase and entitlement information needed to unlock Pro features, but does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Apple handles purchase information according to Apple’s Privacy Policy.

This website

This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, cookies, accounts, or contact forms. GitHub may process basic technical information when it hosts and delivers the site; its practices are covered by the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Data retention and your choices

Blop keeps local app data until you delete it or remove the app. Blop does not keep a server-side copy of your personal media. Information handled by Apple, KLIPY, or GitHub is subject to each provider’s retention and deletion practices.

You can stop online search data from being sent by using only your local Blop library. You can also disable Full Access for the keyboard in system settings or remove the keyboard at any time.

Changes

If Blop’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before those changes take effect, and the effective date above will be revised.
